From October 21 to 23, 2025, the Belgian city of Kortrijk welcomed partners and stakeholders for the fourth Exchange of Experience (EoE) of the CCSI4CCSI project. This three-day program allowed participants to immerse themselves in a world-class creative ecosystem, blending hands-on workshops with inspiration from the Kortrijk UNESCO Design Region and the WONDER Creativity Festival.
The event opened with insights into the local design landscape provided by Designregio Kortrijk and the City of Kortrijk, followed by a project status update from the Lead Partner (Region of Central Macedonia). A key highlight of the first day was the "Green CCSI" session, where regional stakeholders shared sustainable success stories. These included Thessaloniki’s UpCycle Project, Koprivnica’s textile waste transformation by Humana Nova, Belgium’s flax-based "Vlastic" biomaterial, Małopolska’s sustainable FabLab, and Kolding’s "Slow Fashion" initiative.
The second day focused on practical application through a co-creation workshop on sustainable business models. Participants also explored the cutting-edge Digital Arts & Entertainment school at Howest University and enjoyed a curated tour of the WONDER Creativity Festival. The final day concluded with a Steering Committee meeting to plan future project phases, followed by an inspiring Creativity Summit featuring international design leaders from France, Italy, and the Netherlands.
